8 Simple Clothes Shopping Strategies

If you want to have great wardrobe, full of choices, to create sophisticated and trendy outfits, strategic planning of your shopping trip is the answer.

Only when you have a plan, aka shopping list, and know exactly what you have in your closet and what is missing, only in that case you can be your own shopping expert with great cloth to wear and money saved in your bank account.

1. Two to three color wardrobe

Keep your wardrobe of separates down to two or three basic colors for maximum versatility and ease.

2. Stay Away from Trendy Clothes

.Do not spend a lot of money on  trendy  items.

3. Don't try t Save on Wardrobe Foundation

Buy you wardrobe foundation garments in the best quality you can afford.

4. Take Shopping Seriously

Do not shop with the purpose to make you feel better. Shopping is a serious deal. You don't want to waste you hard earned money on unnecessary cloth that you later regret. Remember the cost per wear rule? Always carry shopping list with you  because you never know where you can find that perfect dress that you have been looking for for awhile. Never shop last minute for an important or expensive garment.

5. Debt Free

Smart girls look great and have money in a bank, never forget about it. Only nice quality purchases that are planned or not very expensive thendy pieces that you can wear for one season. Don't go into debt over clothes!

6. Shop designer labels when on sale

I currently reside in Barcelona and here twice a year, every store has a Mega Sale with up to 80% off. So, instead of going to cheap stores and get dirt cheap cloth, I skip that step and go straight to designer stores. The thing is, you will get amazingly beautiful, high-quality pieces at the price of Zara or a little more To me its a fair deal and I would advice you to do the same.

7 Accessory Matters

Develop an accessory wardrobe to vary the look of your clothes. I have tons of necklaces and bracelets. Sometimes I wear the same blouse and only change accessory.  First of all, when you wear cool necklace, everyone notice that. Who doesn't love extra attention?  But most importantly, nice colorful piece of jewelry can change outfit look completely and take you from bohemian to glamorous in a seconds. 

8. Price Beyond the Price Tag

Consider the price beyond the price tag. If you can't afford to dry-clean the garment pass it by. Look for a good dry-cleaner and tailor in your area and become their best friend.
