Get happy in 60 seconds!

1. Take a photo flashback: As soon as you're feeling a bit blue, flick back through your camera roll to a time when you were feeling the complete opposite. Maybe it was a holiday, a catch-up with friends or even a hilarious school day. Either way, remembering the good times is a sure-fire way to cheer you up.
2. Wash your face: You might not have time to freshen up in the shower, but washing your worries away with a quick splash of water can be like hitting "refresh" on your mood.
3. Text someone five reasons you adore them: It's a well-known fact that making people feel good makes you feel good in return. It might be your mum, best friend or someone you've kind of lost touch with recently, but sending someone a list of the reasons you dig them, will make you feel all warm on the inside.
4. Have a cup of tea: There's something comforting about tea, whether it's that warming feeling inside or that it reminds you of your grandparents. Whatever the reason, take a minute to get your Polly on and head for the kettle.
5. Clear away some clutter: Even cleaning up a small space, like your desk, can clear your mind. Do what you can in one minute and you'll walk away knowing you've at least made a start on your mess.
6. Reach for the perfume: If it's not already a scientific fact, it should be: a quick spritz of your favourite fragrance can change everything - even the very worst case of the sads.
7. Smile like you mean it: This may seem completely obvious, but it's been proven that forcing a smile will make you happier. Your body doesn't know you're feeling down, so as soon as a smile is on your dial, you're convincing yourself that things are going great.
8. Take a timeout: While a full-blown meditation sesh would be great right about now, even sixty seconds of relaxation can help you pull it together. Get as comfortable as you can in a quiet place, close your eyes and give yourself a whole minute of just breathing, no thinking. When you open your eyes, consider your bad mood magically banished.
9. YouTube your fave TV moment: Whether you're into The SimpsonsModern Family or vintageFriends, search for your fave funny scene and prepare to get LOL-ing.
10. Go find your pet: Animals can sense when you're upset, so find a fluffy friend for a well-deserved cuddle.
11. Give yourself a head massage: Undo that tight pony and just rub it out. Take some time to massage the pressure points at your temples.
12. Stretch it out: And by stretch, we mean really STRETCH. Breath in, stand on those tippy toes and reach for the sky. Correct your posture, take a few more deep breaths and you've got a one-way ticket to happy-town!
